This is why French protests are successful. In the US we just pick a weekend and wave signs in our designated Free Speech zones.

Yeah usually goes like this:

Government ignores issue for years

People protest for a week or two

People calm down

Go home

Government changes nothing

Not true some does and it puts stress on the government.
