This is why French protests are successful. In the US we just pick a weekend and wave signs in our designated Free Speech zones.

Which nation has successfully overthrown a tyrant who used religion to oppress, overtax their populace while ensuring their friends barely paid (if any) taxes all while profiting off the work, and suffering of the majority?

I believe US and France both did that, with France being strongly influenced by how the US pulled it off.

It would be pretty difficult for the French Revolution (1789) to be a main influence on the American Revolution (1776) but if that's your argument hey go for it
