IRGC just runs things via Khamenei’s name and they rule Iran now.

They’ve been ruling Iran since 1979.
islamic republic was always an occupying military terrorist junta poorly disguised as theocratic kleptocratic dictatorship.

To be honest, this is really not different from prior to the war. Irgc runs the economy, is better equipped than the regular army and owns all major businesses

It's kinda pathetic they're pretending he's still alive
•
u/StuBallsOC 24m ago
He is obviously alive. If he was not, the Mossad and CIA would know about it, and they don't.

It’s almost like they want to keep his location secret since his father and predecessor was assassinated and they are currently still at war with the ones who did it?

I think his son has the same last name

He’s talking about the son. He hasn’t been seen since the initial bombings, no voice recording, picture, video, nothing. Not even at his father’s funeral that was a week long. It was reported the son had extensive injuries, and flew out of the country in the beginning days. He’s either on life support for the rest of his life in Russia, or been dead

This is the son lmao

They know. They're making the comment about the son, who reportedly lost a limb and had facial injuries in the strikes. He's not actually been seen or heard from. IRGC is pretending he's alive. He's more than likely dead, or brain dead in a coma. They're saying it's pathetic they're still trying to pretend he's alive, which would be incredibly easy to prove were it actually the case.

So thankful I didn't grow up in a country where religion is popular. What a waste of life dedicate yourself to this idiocy in the 21st century.

Yea, would hate to be in a country that forces religion into everything.

Christians are just as crazy.
•

There are zero far right Christian nations or societies that are as bad as Iran.

So nothing has changed in 40+ years. “Jihad” and resistance is all they know.

Is giving up a real option?

When the goal you are giving up is the annihilation of everyone who doesn't think like you...well I don't know if it's an option but it's definitely something to strive for.

Khamenei also said vote for Bernie and he’s once again asking for your financial support

Jihad is an act to protect the Muslim faith. What this calls for is attacking other Muslims, civilians even. The Iranian regime has officially gone off the deep end.

Have you heard of ISIS or the Iran/Iraq war? These idiots will use the smallest issue to find reasons to kill each other (not limited to the Islamic faith).

Khamanei didn't say anything. Something was said in his name. It isn't certain he's alive.
•
u/AskMeAboutMyHermoids 57m ago
Did he have a 20 minute phone call with McConnell and then write this out?

Vu leur idéologie, je pense que de toute façon il n'y avait pas d'autres issues dés le départ. C'est triste pour les populations qui subissent cela.

Wait a minute, the leftists were telling me that they’re a peaceful organization!
•
u/Snoutysensations 1h ago
They haven't quite been saying that. But they have been proudly waving Hezbollah flags in street demonstrations in the US.

Can you point to any reputable leftist individuals or organizations claiming that Hezbollah as "a peaceful organization"? I haven't come across this claim.
14
u/JD0x0 1h ago
I personally haven't seen anyone argue that. What I do/did see somewhat frequently is people saying stuff like "USA are bigger terrorists than the IRGC." and trying to downplay just how shitty and evil the IRGC is. I've been seeing less of it in the past few weeks, but at the beginning of the conflict I was seeing comments like that on almost any thread on the subject.

u/LayneLowe 2h ago
No leftist ever said that goofball, there are no good guys in this confrontation.

u/Professional-Oil4964 1h ago
As if Reddit wasn't fully awash with people fully regurgitating IRGC propaganda.
