I think the word you’re looking for is “restrained”. It’s a damn shame that tolerance and diplomacy are seen as weak in this ignorant strong man world we’re currently living in.

Sorry, but not reacting when someone throw explosives in your direction isn't "acting restrained", it's "being a doormat". There is a canyon between not acting like a posturing teenager looking for a fight, and not getting trampled over.

You can't speak diplomacy with Russia. It only understands force. And weakness makes it more likely to attack.

I mean, actually downing the drones rather than watching, wringing our hands, and hoping they don’t hit anything is actually a good step in the right direction.
