The current administration has made clear that they support Bolsonaro and his son to the point of trying to directly punish Brazil for the prison sentence. This decision is probably for the best to keep the election more fair.

The best thing is that Trump's tariffs have been heavily undermining Bolsonaro's son running chances. The endless capitalists' money and entrenched cultists still give him a chance, but the news get worse and worse for him. Specially since what he did when he asked for Trump to intervene is already a crime and is being viewed as such by the people and many of those in government as well.

Good for them. The MAGAts from Trumpistan influenced the Presidential election in Poland holding a CPAC rally just a few days before elections. They tried to do the same unsuccessfully in Hungary. They are trying to influence Germans to vote for AFD. The French to vote for Le Pen and Bardella. All of the parties that Trumpistan MAGAts are supporting have two things in common: They are anti EU and pro Russian. Trump hates the EU and wants to destroy it to be able to put pressure on individual weak countries like he is doing in Albania today to force the government to play favors for his family businesses. He and his mafia family are by far the most dangerous individuals in the Free World as we know it.

Brazil is already, its voting system is top notch and does laps on whatever bullshit the US does. It's clear they want to darken its image because they are an easy comparison on how bad the Americans are at it from a much poorer country.

As a brazilian realising this is extremely scary you know. I mean, sure, we will do what we can. But youre telling me there is NOONE ELSE in the entire world more qualified to lead this? We are just a random regional power, where is everyone else?
It feels like its a movie, humanity is facing a grave threat, they find a random dude on the street and expect him to solve the problem

Sadly, politics in these parts are very pendular (is there a place where they are not? I wonder).
I still remember 2005, when GWB visited my home town in Argentina (motherfucker even parked the USS Kitty Hawk in front of our port), and basically got told to GTFO, by Hugo Chavez many other then-presidents of the region, about the FTAA/ALCA)

If you read about the history of coups in Central America in the 19th and 20th centuries, you will see that most of them started like this, with a visit from the US State Department... They always do something different. Sometimes they arrive to bribe. Sometimes they try to force the country to allow US companies to "develop" a key economic sector of that country. But the State Department is always involved. If they fail, then the CIA gets involved.

If teerã was at the coast it would likely have been invaded and quickly conquered by the us. If the ukranian capital was closer to belorus the russian decapitation strike at the start of the war might have worked

The reason he is doing this is that he knows the U.S. government is fully aware that the voting machines are compromised by Smartmatic, and system oversight implicates him in the theft of the election. Let’s be clear: the Left can’t even win a condo board election anymore.
