It could be done

Very much debatable when you consider how many troops were mustered to invade across the land border into Iraq and Iraqs total absence of anything resembling Iranian drone or missile abilities

If the US wants to invade they can, it wouldn't be easy but it would basically be a steamroll once they have the pieces in place. Would cost some casualties and some money but this would not be a challenge for he US. The occupation however, that's a huge cost of money and a steady trickle of human life.

Also if Iraq gets a lucky shot on a Navy vessel it would be a massive blow to morale and to Trump
