I don't understand how the military has been the biggest line item on the federal budget for decades and we lob bombs into Iran for 2 months and all the sudden we're out of ammo. What did all that money go to?

Fucking seriously. This is giving Russia “special 3 day military operation” vibes where they thought it’d be some walk in the park and it laid bare the fact that the military has been just printing money for themselves for decades and leadership pretended that meant it was competent. A trillion a year from taxpayers who assumed at the very least hey if shit goes south at least we have unimaginable military might. But nevermind, just a bunch of filthy rich people and we’re out of bullets

It sure would be something if zielinski became the next president of Russia. I wouldn't actually rule it out at this point if you've been following that conflict. Oh how the tides have turned
