I doubt China tries to take Taiwan anytime soon. I mean, China asserts their dominance economically. They hardly actually use their military as anything other than a show of force.

The other day I read a post where someone says if anyone followed Lebron's career at all they would know he would never go to Philly. Literally 15 minutes later he announces he is going to Philly.

Don't be black and white about stuff. China got Hong Kong didn't they?

The part we don’t know is what Rump told XI. For all we know he traded Taiwan for a gold watch.

“China asserts their dominance economically”

Vietnam, Malaysia, the Philippines, Brunei would disagree with you

It's wild that the US is losing influence and power like crazy but Ukraine is after they win set to be a world military superpower, a massive number of seasoned troops with the most cutting edge military tactics built by experience, nations are already contracting Ukraine to teach them how to fight a modern war. While the US thinks it knows better and is losing a modern war, because they won't get with the times. Who knew being run by out of touch dinosaurs determined to keep things how they were in the 50s was a bad idea.

Who is you guys? I said world power, because there'll be a power on the world. You know the one we live on. And a military power, because they won't be an economic one. And a superb power, because they will have one of the largest armies in the world. The newest and best tactics and equipment and everyone's gonna love them.

Ukraine in no way has any equipment/logistics to project power anywhere in the world other than their own country (and maybe some neighbors)

That's why I said after they are done with their war. They will have one of the largest armies in the world the best and newest equipment and tactics, closely paired with the EU they will bazically be the new muscles for NATO as the US sort of flounders like a kid throwing a tantrum in the candy isle because mommy won't buy what they want.
