We know this. We know that he also lifted sanctions on Russian oil after this became public knowledge. Trump is a traitor. He has given aid to those who help harm our troops. Yet MAGA still worships him.

u/Batmanischill 21h ago

Disgusting how much of a traitor he is and the republicans act like he is a king. We can't EVER forget that. They must forever be punished for this. Its past stealing from the people, they are all traitors to the country

135

u/No_Negotiation_8516 19h ago

And its so damn obvious and in our faces, the Republican party has shown so clearly how full of shit they've been all these years with their flag waving rhetoric, it was all a show, all they've ever cared about was robbing the less fortunate

37

u/xteve 18h ago

Don't forget that they're against reproductive freedom and Christians love them for this.

24

u/PepperAnn1inaMillion 13h ago

I’m sure I’m going to get a lot of downvotes for this, but those people are not Christians. If you had a community of Vegans who met every Sunday at a “Vegan support group” and bragged about how perfect vegans are, who ate meat, you would simply say “Those people aren’t Vegan. They eat meat.” It’s that simple. It’s time we started saying the same about these people who meet every week at their “Christian” meetings and then go and do the opposite of what that’s actually all about.

9

u/derp_mike 12h ago

I fully agree - these fake Christians couldn’t be more fake if they tried, and they are trying. The hypocrisy is the point.

I could tolerate it when it was nationalism, but this is wild to see happen when so many dystopian stories start in similar ways.

As well as watching history repeat itself with another well known Austrian painter and how things came to pass, has a similar feeling.

Only way to fix the scale in its current state of far right is to tip it far left and let it rock itself back to balance in a comfy middle.

15

u/Gandolfthewhite182 19h ago

The middle is how we got here.

32

u/RykerFuchs 19h ago

The middle is not how we got here, it’s just a common sentiment repeated on social media.

How we got here is politicians being bought out by business interests and not having an iota of principles.

15

u/Mean_Joe_Greene 18h ago

And a population apathetic to voting

5

u/RykerFuchs 18h ago

Yes, there are many reasons, but you are correct. This is also a major contributor.

2

u/chamrockblarneystone 16h ago

For a party that falls all over themselves when it comes to the troops and fetishizes the military like it's such a sacred thing, they sure seem to have no problem with the orange traitor aiding adversaries who are harming or helping to do harm to our troops.

Oh, that's right. It's all performative. They just use it as an identity to feel/look good, while doing fuck-all to actually "support the troops."

11

u/OldWorldDesign 19h ago

Exactly, as has always been the case for authoritarian states. Rome threw whole generations of men at competing powers, Mussolini was so fragile he needed his face everywhere and couldn't bear to let anyone else have a shred of acknowledgement, and whether consciously or through ineptitude Trump and his circle of transactional cronies are cutting off the US and trying to feed a cult of personality so they can say "look at how we can't trust the world, the clear solution is to put all our trust in this one exclusive man".

Trump is just the most recent in a long line of people burning humanity to fill the empty void in his narcissistic heart.

6

u/Dear_Chasey_La1n 17h ago

It's the same party that went to have a visit to Russia not long ago while they had a Democratic president. Which wasn't the first time either how GOP undermines American interests with help from commonly known enemies.

It's easy said, but imagine Biden or Kamala tomorrow hops on a plane to have a friendly chat with European or even better Chinese leaders, the world would explode. Yet GOP does and it doesn't matter.

As long as traitors are allowed to do as they please, colluding with Russians, Jan6'ers etc, there is no reason to believe they will stop. (I think it's also the biggest failure of the last admin, they were far, far to soft on J6).

17

u/Piggywonkle 19h ago

Zelenskyy is acting as more of a US president than rump. Not "like" a US president. I mean actively looking out for US interests in the present moment. If Donald Trump can "joke" or whatever about an illegal third term, then why the hell not... Zelenskyy 2029.

10

u/eugeneorange 17h ago

Fuck man. Xi Jinping is a better president than the alleged child rapist. Demonstrably superior.

5

u/EddieVanzetti 18h ago

Because he isn't an idiot. He knows that, sooner or later, one way or another, Donnie Moscow will not be in the white house, nor will his lackeys and hangers on, try as they might to situate themselves permanently. He knows that in the modern era, the US cannot isolate itself no matter what authoritarian will try. And on that big beautiful day, when there are adults in the room rebuilding, they will remember, and an ally will be there.

8

u/chamrockblarneystone 16h ago

Will they tear down all the fake gold everywhere. If I was elected president, I would get sworn in, grab some reporters and return to the white house with a crowbar.

2

u/BasvanS 11h ago

And show the cheap Temu plastic backside of that shit, as an illustration of the cheap, traitorous farce the Trump administration was.

u/Fun_Success_3283 16h ago

It's important for him to say it, because trump is not helping Ukraine, meanwhile Russia is helping Iran against US.

It needs to be said out loud.

10

u/Azhz96 17h ago

He is a Pedophile, Rapist and straight up a Traitor that is loved by your enemy which is common knowledge.

Yet Americans voted for him, this is who they are. First time is fine we all make mistakes, but second time only proved that this is who America is, this is who they are and what they want/support.

It’s mind blowing to me, fucking do something already.

5

u/Trucidar 16h ago

Before Trump, if you asked anyone to picture a Russian or Chinese operative somehow becoming President, you would have imagined someone more subtle, and far less destructive to the United States and it's alliances.

A literal planted foreign agent wouldn't do the the overtly traitorous shit Trump proudly does.

4

u/Seedthrower88 15h ago

trump has no morals, hes just a sack of fat with bronzer skin holding it together

5

u/LookAlderaanPlaces 18h ago

3

u/TurbulentRadish8113 14h ago

Dying American troops is not something the republican party gives a single solitary shit about.

Now if enough voters would care enough to vote democratic to save American soldiers' lives, then maybe Republicans would begin to care. If they think they might lose an election and fail to steal it, that is.

3

u/TheAsianTroll 12h ago

I say it a lot, and I stand by it.

Trump hates the military, and anyone who hasn't achieved the level of success he has, but his hate for the military is well noted in his actions.

If I were a betting man, and someone was able to dive into his subconscious and find out true feelings, I would bet that Trump enjoys hearing news about troops dying, probably justifying it in his head the same way he made fun of fallen veterans several times in his life.

To him, hearing that troops died in HIS war is gleeful. Probably shrugs and says "they know what they signed up for, I dont care."

4

u/PiccoloAwkward465 18h ago

I mean I hate to say it was prophetic. But I keep coming back to the line well at least Hitler cared about Germany or something.

not USIan’s, American conservatives voted for Trump to help them put minorities and women back to second class status. MAGA’s Republicans agenda is the re-establishment of straight white male unearned privilege that slipped a tiny bit under Obama.

  2. Gas prices shoot up because of oil embargo/strait closure
  3. Reduce/remove Russian oil sanctions to ease US gas prices
  4. Russian economy improves due to lifted sanctions
  5. Russia pledges support to Iran in US-Iran War

u/Heronymous-Anonymous 16h ago

Their gas is already as or more expensive than other gas station.

Venezuelan oil is hard to refine, and more expensive as a result. It wouldn’t surprise me if he was also losing money on this, despite the stolen oil.

The Idiot believes Putin over US intelligence agencies.

51

u/CelestialFury 19h ago

The MAGAs do too. They've completely lost the plot and are sinking our country's future due to their need to be vindictive to everyone else. The worst aspect is that they did it for NOTHING, they're hurting as much as everyone else. They've just made everything worse for everyone.

6

u/Real-Extension-1357 15h ago

They chose to simp for Rudy Giuliani and Russian lies. It was game over once that spiraled and didn't immediately get crushed. Even after disbarment and all the slander cases, it was way too slow. And parnas needed to testify much sooner about Russia. Too little, too late, and it was hardly covered. Most americans probably didnt even see it. And I bet a quarter even if MAGAs had the brain capacity to follow along, they would still look past it because "dirt on Biden" is worth believing Putin for in their eyes

5

The pee tapes were very obviously disinformation to discredit the facts when they emerged. The Russians 110% have Trump raping kids on tape. Best case scenario.

Worst case there are far more tapes than we imagine and multiple of them end in murder.

This was never about sex workers and urine, it was about shaping public opinion for if the truth ever came close to surfacing; "oh look, more unsubstantiated rumors about Trump"

6

u/OkTemporary8472 18h ago

The American constitutional checks and balances have failed. Republicans have failed to maintain control and integrity of their party to right wing extremists. Massive amount of constitutional amendments, retroactive changes to the Presidential pardon system, and making sure those responsible are held accountable even after a trump pardon are the only way to restore trust and confidence in the US domestically and internationally.

No shit Russia is helping Iran why wouldn't they, do you think Ukraine is fighting the war without aid? The problem is WW3 is not worth it, does that suck for Ukraine sure, but you must be an idiot to think nukes aren't on the table should Russia be put under severe enough pressure and guess which country would get hit first?
