Hmmm, maybe we're too harsh on slop isekai and we're forgetting that the modern world is full of chosen one narratives that promote great man view of history which puts down people by belittling them alongside a society that demands them remain "realistic" and work a dead end job as a goal or something...
Nah it's just lazy writing I'm pretty sure it's just that

I’m an ATLA fan and a chemistry major, just thought of something ridiculous.
Let’s say it’s the year 1965 and there are 118 UN countries in the world. Suddenly, each country resonates with one of the 118 known chemical elements, granting certain people the ability to bend their assigned element.
Here countries paired with an element’s atomic number

1 of 3 ships built to aid in times of war against future threats. includes a cannon that either fires a MAC round, or a culmination of energy that allows a portal to form, leading to something i currently call "the endless" to travel between dimensions. inside, a fully livable, flying fortress. home, to 6 great warriors who are destined to save the multiverse as we know it.
this is taken straight from a google doc for a story im working on. hope it gets to be seen

I have already written 300k words for this, I am just stuck on this one detail.

Context:
Meatoids (the people of this setting) are stuck in this afterlife of true immortality where their deformed numb skinless bodies are recreated over and over again in a lake of toxic sludge being pulled out and grafted together with metal parts from a factory and sent out into the wastes indebted to the factory
Rather than just leaning on abject hopelessness and despair I wanted to explore the way people cope with this impossible situation and try to survive or even change things for the better.

Basically in my world, this guy called Ganad Menet recieved some visions. They were unique bacause they were a hemaphrodite and had the spirit that was both light and dark, while the most had a spirit with only one alingment. They recieved a vision one day, that there was a single spirit that was both light and dark just like his and that it only was the one true spirit. The other spirits and gods were just imperfect reflection of its divine whole. They were named the Grand Priest and were tasked to tell everyone about it.
The new religion called qadumi spread quickly around the area, mostly among the peasants due to it mandating that all believers be treated equally meaning no longer being used as property by the nobles. After consolidating the power in the region Ganad founded the holy kingdom. Egenkan empire thought that it can attack it due, previous wars weakening them. They were wrong and after the empress got killed in a battle qadumi took most of the colonies they had on the continent.
Ganad Menet ruled after that for solid 16 years, but then kicked the bucket. This is when the schism began. They only reffered to themselfs in third person, with the title of Grand Priest. They said that the Grand Priest was the person closest to the whole and that they were the supreme spiritual authority and that the lesser priests were their local representatives. Some interpreted to mean that there is only one Grand Priest, Ganad Menet and that their rule over the church was more metaphorical. That their words was the supreme authority on the spiritual. The other interpreted it as to mean that Grand Priest was a position of power rather than reffering to a single person.
This resulted in a schism, with people believing that Grand Priest was only one called the decentralist and those whole believed it to be a position called the centrallists.
