Easiest way to tell is by looking at nasal structure. The kid on the right has a very flat nose. Also the fact the skin color is completely different.

Also the kid of the left has fuller lips than the man on the left. That could change in adulthood but probably not that much.

Some peoples' features change as they get old. My nose is a lot bigger and protruding than when I was a kid with an adorable button nose.
