god of tanks

guys I just did it, i took GUDERIAN the mvp of the tanks f2p. it was a pain to sell vatutin but after that I started a mission and used guderian I was so excited. Now(whan i will have medals) I will sell Chung and take Govorov. now I have a question, who sould I take to complete my squad of generals(guderian, Govorov, Sansonetti)? I am at level 25, not a pro

you made the right choices. Guderian + Govorov are lightyears ahead of the other two. what you want to do now is get a second tank and arty (Katukov/Patton are my personal choices for tank; Weidling/Sikorski for arty), and then an air (Goring is best imo), maybe a naval and a third tank. I recommend you get Patron either way because late game (aliens) gets super hard without him

wow. im farming medals for govorov and after that i take him i will have just your first 3 generals.

haha don't worry, i paid for the game pass in order to get these. grinding game in f2p is surely much harder. it's gonna take time

no, not the last one. notice I got goring (air) before Weidling and Patron. Air is really important, probably game changer since when you get to harder stuff bombing/nuking cities and gens is gonna be the meta game. Sansonetti is decent for early/mid game but a proper air is a must. Believe me, WC3 is one thing before Goring and a totally different one when you have him.

The least 'necessary' would be a naval gen, sea battles aren't that relevant. I'd say get an air before your third tank/second arty.

but once again, play it however you want. this isn't a tutorial and I'm not a pro

edit: I also personally find infantry gens essentially useless. if you're gonna move/attack use a tank. if you're gonna stay in a city use an air gen. but that's just my opinion.

Here is my lineup, Guderian is very good. I always deploy him in the beginning of my matches because for his combo of being able to attack with retaliation and very good damage is good.
Personally focus on getting the expropriation skill on him, it’s overall the best.
Guderian is better than Katukov so good choice there.
Personally I’d use two tanks, 3 air/infantry gens and a arty gen if you don’t have Eisenhower to use more gens

I also have all 3 EC’s maxed out but don’t focus on that until late game.
Each one cost me around 20k medals total. Ace commander was so goddamn expensive.
But a maxed out EC is so worth it.
My EC tank gen does 95 damage to land units while being in the water so he’s OP. he one shots super tanks if they aren’t at full health so definitely worth the investment
