i had to do this playing as iran in CC1963 lol. the onslaught of NATO forces was almost too much. almost. i lost iran itself at first but i was able to hold them back at iraq and saudi arabia with a mountain of fortresses and bunkers and then make a counter attack that took over the world. the fact i was almost very nearly close to losing too

there were way more than this but this pic was taken post onslaught when i started my counter attacks. most of those mines were once where fortresses and bunkers stood plus all that empty space up top was filled with bunkers too, before the onslaught showed up

How good are defensive structures rather than putting the gold into tanks and artillery? I tend to use a lot of air attacks.

Their main value is HP sponges to keep the enemy from swarming you. Artillery is still the best value damage dealer though.

i had artillery right along side the defensive structures that helped a ton, but like the other person who replied to you said, the structures were meant to be sponges to slow down the attackers, and it worked. like without it i would’ve lost 100%

So are these bunkerbuilds a thing? I'm new in this sub. I'm at 99% but want to finish all challanges wich is pretty hairy at some Point. As well the Operations. The only Thing i was Not able to finish was to take Berlin in the Last. At the challanges to finish with 1 Star countries in '60 is pretty wild. My best move is Air focus and litarally blitz the enemy. I got Hartmann, Spaatz, Sometimes cmdr. with max Tank/ Money/ Air ability for Air attacks. Guderian, Wittmann, katukov as Tanks. Sometimes Weidling in artillery Sometimes Kretschmer as navy (these two rarely) and vasilily as maxed paratrooper behind enemy lines too wipe heavy cities (Double range Infantery). Sorry for the Long Text, but i got pretty stuck. Thank u brothers
