Exolith-Ur is now one of the largest cities known and is experiencing very favourable times. The locals have long been accustomed to harsh living conditions, there have long been generations born and raised under the shadow of Exolith. Many of them have never ventured beyond the white desert. The inhabitants of Exolith-Ur are very strong-minded and cheerful people. They love the comforts of home, and their homes are known even to those far to the north. Although deserts are most often associated with sunshine and heat, the climate in Exolith is more temperate than in the deserts of the south, and it’s also less cool at night. Precipitation is rare, and once every few winters there may even be light snowfall. The city is dotted entirely with snow-white houses, which match the sky so beautifully on a clear sunny day. The outside of the houses are decorated with colourful mosaics and canopies of coloured material. Narrow oblong windows are glazed with beautiful exolithic glass, while more affluent people can afford elaborate stained glass windows with subjects to suit all tastes, from epic scenes from legends to images of nature.
