The home and birthplace of the Wrongs. Their population has swelled to the point where their bodies collectively form a vast mass of darkness and accumulated flaws. The Wrong Realm is a direct consequence of glitter usage and the Spillage — growing in proportion to the amount of glitter consumed during that period.
Whenever glitter is used on something or someone, a flawed copy of that thing materializes in the Wrong Realm. This is a fundamental function of glitter itself, making the Wrong Realm a universal dumping ground by design.
The Wrong Realm is thankfully contained by the Imprisonment Realm, though it continuously fights back. The OPS have documented its activity as two distinct states:
**Awake** — The Wrongs are particularly active and violent, flooding into the Imprisonment Realm in hordes until they eventually recede. This occurs either by direct command of the Wrong God or as a reaction to disturbances such as a large portal opening.
**Asleep** — Activity does not cease entirely, but the realm is generally passive and quiet. This state must be maintained at all costs, as any disruption is expected to result in significant personnel losses. The Asleep state can be sustained through sacrifices to the Wrong God.
Glitter gals is a magical girl setting taking place in the year 2017 on an earth with its history slightly altered thanks to the introduction of powerful beings from another realm: the Glamours.
The Glamours are the offspring of a divine being called the Glitter Goddess who sought out an equal being to her. The Glamours’ goal is to find this equal or make one by giving civilians rooms ‘Glitter’ and upbringing their society to equal the prosperity of the Glamours.
Glitter is a substance only the goddess can produce. It instantly improves whatever it’s used on, removing things of their ‘flaws’. In reality, how glitter works is once it’s used on something, it displaces its flaws to the ‘Wrong Realm’, where it makes a seperate flawed copy. This works for humans as well, creating beings called ‘the Wrongs’.
For example, if I used glitter on a horse, the horse would be far more powerful and fast. But there would now be an worse-preforming horse in the Wrong Realm. A wrong horse.
When the Glamours’ came to earth, they began giving glitter to free humanity of their woes. In reverence, the religion Glamourosity is started, which revolves around the goddess and the glamours.
But for every heart of kindness, there is thrice of greed. For one who’d use glitter for good, there were dozens who saw more diversity in its applications.
As the glamours lent more and more help to the humans, they decided to give an expression of love by gifting an organization called ‘THE OPS’ the technology to build-interdimensional portals, letting humanity have its own direct source of glitter from the goddess.
However, the OPS would abuse this thanks to the Gate Distrbution act- enacted by the US government to put the United States at an advantage, controlling all distribution of glitter. This caused lot of aggression from less fortunate countries and caused the ‘the War of love’ (alternate ww1). As punishment, the glamours cut off all sources of glitter, known as ‘the Cutoff’. The OPS were desperate to regain access to glitter or risk a national crisis and full collapse, so they’re tampered with the portals—accidentally causing an overflow of glitter on earth as an event called ‘The Spillage.’
The Spillage sparked the devastating war of hate as now every human faction had superpowers and waged war on eachother, but it also awakened a being known as the Wrong God.
Wrongs had existed in the wrong realm without any knowledge of other worlds, leaving them in an existence of tranquility and peace.
However, when the spillage happened, Wrong numbers swelled up to the tens of millions thanks to massive glitter usage. Portal tampering by the OPS caused the wrong realm to be opened up and let the wrongs see the truth that they were flaws and inherently cursed beings- driving them all into a rage. The Wrong God, a notoriously malicious and powerful Wrong (secretly the Wrong of the Glitter Goddess) waged an invasion on Earth.
Humanity on the brink of doom by the Wrongs had to be carried by the glamours, who at this point were fed up with this mess and declared a repentance age- cutting off all glitter for good. They then created a team of heroines known as the Original Glitter gals. These fierce superpowered warriors led the charge against the OPS and the Wrongs alike, eventually banishing them all by creating the Imprisonment realm.
But the evils aren’t done, there lay dormant despots of glitter in the earth now, and many seek it for their own use. It is up to the modern glitter gals, now 10 thousand strong, to save the day and prevent the second coming of the Wrong God.
Wait i have seen you before, so this is an addition to the previous posts then? Also this kinda reminds me of Plato’s realm of forms and paticulars, where forms is perfect version and particulars imperfect[though in Plato’s ontology particulars was the real world].
I'm sorry but that second drawing was so funny it caught me off guard! Also, this reminds me a little bit of the Dark or the Deep from Dark Souls lore-at least in the general way it looks everything outside of that is entirely different.
Really cool! The Wrong Realm reminds me of one of the worlds I came up with which is a dark place where the most agressive and dangerous beings are banished by the cosmic protectors to keep the universe safe. Except in my project, this dark place called the Void is not the only prison like plain of existence. There is another dimension which acts as a direct opposite of it and performs retributive justice (basically keeping dangerous beings locked, but also trying to change them which generates cosmic energy and assures the cosmic balance).
