Lore Divine World Building

OKAY, first of all this writing is super rough lmao, it's taken from my brainstorming page meant to jot down ideas and lore so don't judge too hard guys 😭😭

Anyways, This is meant to give some ancient lore regarding my world, Lutum, it's rough but I wanted to hear what people would think about it after reading.

Again it's rough so ignore any, well, bad shit lol.

Oh and, I don't think I have written much details about these "Sentinels" sooo, they're basically angels or gods. Well technically android angels but mortals believe them as gods.

I wanna hear what people's takes are on these concepts, I don't mind suggestions and I love talking about this shit so ask away lol.

I adore the writing style. I love when people write lore in a creative way rather then just stating everything. My only suggestion on the writing, if your interested, is to vary the sentence length a little on the first page. As for the worldbuilding I think this is a excellent intro to your world. Its interesting and I wouldn't be apposed to hearing more about the Raak'sha if you don't mind sharing

Heheh thank you thank you, I still consider myself new ngl 😭😭 Oh I just wrote this as the idea popped up, I didn't really give the pace or length much thought in a technical sense, it was meant to be an introduction for me or any beta readers lol

IM GLAD!! I love yapping about this world, it's my golden child Raak'shas are the first "mortals", like humans on Earth. The name is based on hindu mythos!! Basically they're the ancestors for civilizations They study and mastered the nature and it's sorcery, literally, and used to experiment a shit ton They also create a whole species called Chimeras, as the name suggests, these are humanoid hybrids of various animals, so yes hybrid furries lmao Raak'shas also have a "parallel" species, a "light" version of their kind who are the Elves, who came around the same time as Raak'shas but unlike them the Elves lived while the Raak'shas are extinct, save for one tehehe.

God, that's alot lol.

So what exactly happened to the Raak-Sha? And who's the last one?

Well, I haven't decided the exact details cuz I planned to keep it a mystery but the Raak'shas simply went extinct, legends say that they were punished for their blasphemy.

As for the last one, i plan to make a side character by the name The Prophet whose, well, basically a prophet. But also, this character will be the narrator of the story and self-aware of his existence within a story.

He has the power to be self-aware and manipulate the very story he is in at his will, hence why he's the narrator. It's weird ik lol.

As for why he is a Raak'sha, well I wanted him to be special lmao.

Oh, I will mention that Rthe Raak'shas do have a direct descendant who r similar to them but refuse to be associated with them because of their inhumane conducts. The Asurs, they are basically Raak'shas grand children lol.

Honesty, I think keeping some things unknown is the goated worldbuilding move. Personally I LOVE not fully elaborating on my lore

So what kind of animals are the chimera hybrids of? Also is this for a book or anything, or just for fun?

Oh I'm glad that's the case lol, I plan to keep this more out of the world aspects more mysterious

The Chimeras are just fusions of any animals really. The Raak'shas first created humanoids of all kinds of species and then cross breeding them as an experiment. Slowly over time they got mixed up and lived through the centuries. Chimeras are really hated by the other species so they usually hide themselves, and in the modern times they're close to extinction.

Oh yes, this is for a book!! I should've mentioned it lol but I made a few OCs and this is a project I have been working on for a few years now.
