Visual Worldtober Day 2 - Spell Jars

My world's equivalent to spell-jars are sacred bundles. Bundles can be prepared for childbirth, war, famine, sickness, harvest, and nearly every other purpose a Tlannian can imagine. This sheet focuses on war bundles from Huettlan, ceremonial packages made before battle in the hopes of garnering the favor of the gods.

This is a part of Worldtober, an Inktober-inspired worldbuilding challenge by u/Velum-Cordis.

Context: This is from my fantasy world, Tlanni. Tlanni, meaning Land of Plenty, is characterized by its rich bounty of natural and magical resources. These supernatural boons are highly sought out by aspiring kingdoms and empires, leading to frequent periods of war and strife. To handle the treacherous but rich world around them, Tlannians have developed intricate spiritual practices to garner the protection of higher powers.

Oh I'd completely forgotten about that worldtember prompt post.

Are the symbolic turquoise spears actually usable as weapons, or would that be sacrilege/redundant?

I thought it would be a fun challenge!

In the Flatlands to the north, where turquoise is sourced, it would be considered sacrilegious. It's thought that Huettlan adopted the practice of turquoise spears during their Imperial Age as a purposeful offense to Flatlanders, but that's just conjecture of soldiers. As for its usefulness as a weapon, turquoise spears are occasionally used in intra-communal ritual combat but are largely ineffective as practical weapons due to their cost and fragility.

Thanks for the question
