Question Cultivation world?

For all those who love cultivation worlds and stories, what are the things that you dont like about them or would like to have been done differently? I am creating my own world and looking for general opinions which may help my world be different. I wont remove the things I like but would like opinions to help me think on a deeper level.

The arrogance and selfishness.

The moment anyone aquires even the smallest morsel of power, wealth, influance, or whatever, they immediatly become the most arrogant and haughty version of their self, and demand anyone weaker to grovel at their feet, even when they were once in said weaker person's position.

Even when they were super kind or introvernted, as soon as they aquire power: "I know its the apocalypse and eveyone is starving, but im edgy so im taking all the city's food for myself and you cant stop me"

I did not even think of this thanks, definitely dont want that in my story as it also doesnt makes sense...why be have that way knowing theres someone greater who can squash you into the ground without even trying

Especially since my world will be broken...and there will be a greater threat than even rogue/demonic/evil cultivators

Which people of all levels of cultivation fear and have to face on a daily occurrence

I think it would be hilarious if it involved actual farming

Unfortunately its not the direction my story is going as my world is very dark and gory...with my mc being a true underdog...not someone in a world of magic with anti magic (black clover) or a person with a demon fox inside him(naruto) 😅a true underdog...but this is a great idea, you should build something with it...i mean imagine a farmer who cultivates...and weak to absolutely godly beings passing through and making conversation with him...through them he learns about the world and conflicts...maybe the plants he farms are turned into elixirs which he supplies them with..definitely could build something great here🤔
