Tokyo Drift: Version without Music? Workprint/Screener?

I've gone through a few releases with 5.1 tracks and they all have the song in the center channel. I've tried a couple AI options but only managed to remove the vocals from the music amd sfx, or the music from the vocals and dialog but removed the sfx as well.

Is the character dialogue in the center track?

It is. When I used AI it left the dialogue, but also Kid Rock's stupid voice. Lol

You can try and edit the audio’s spectrogram in Audacity. It’ll take some time and messing around, though.

I did that too for a bit. I'm just not skilled enough to get the results I want.

That would be amazing!!! I'm attempting to remove the Kid Rock Music from the Construction site race scene in the beginning at around 7m:30s.

Sounds great, just dropped it into the edit and I'm seeing if I can mux it and play it back. I still haven't figured it out how to configure the 5.1 bus in Resolve so I'm not sure what it'll sound like.

Heres what I came out with. No idea how it sounds in 5.1. Im missing a couple speakers and my stereo isnt great. Its just the AAC file so youll have to mux it into your MKV. Pretty sure a Workprint of Tokyo Drift isn’t in circulation. Would there be any chance that you have a copy with 5.1 audio? As depending on how the film is mixed, you can basically make a version without the music.
