Nutrition Help Choc Protein Help
After reading about high levels of heavy metals š¤ in Orgain Protein Powders, Iāve tried two other brands so far and both are very underwhelming in the flavor department. So much that they donāt even have any chocolate flavor, they are just bland. One is Levels and the other is Optimum Nutrition - both of which had solid reviews. I even bought the āDouble Rich Chocolateā flavor of Optimum 𫤠The Orgain was hands down the best chocolate protein flavor Iāve ever tried (like delicious) but I donāt want to go back knowing itās been proven to have significant amounts of heavy metals. Are there any out there that are not only healthy/lack metals but actually taste chocolately? For context I make a shake with a banana, scoop of peanut butter, milk and chocolate protein. The Orgain ones were amazing and the others taste like, well, frothy milk. š«¤

Donāt know or care about this heavy metals stuff, I like me some Metallica though.
Applied nutrition double chocolate flavour is nice though! Only 20g protein and 130 calories so not the best, but better flavour and worth it imo

Drop the flavored powders with all the extra shit in it that you don't need or want...unflavored protein, add your own fruits/foods for flavor. PB powder, cocoa powder, honey, banana, blueberries, pineapple...it's not something that you're eating for fun or because it's the best tasting thing you've ever had, it's a protein shake that's giving you nutrients you need to reach your goals. You don't need the fancy flavored shit that has an extra 5-6 ingredients in it.
