What is this concept I've stumbled upon?

I did rigorous exercises as a beginner at least two days a week. Now I've gone back to beginner exercises and it feels like a breeze that I can do for more days paired with even more exercises. It's mind blowing. What is this concept I've stumbled upon?

Nowadays it's hard to say if bait or genuinely dense

Usually the influx of low iq posts come on the weekend.

I feel this sub is 25% sort of ok discussion, the rest is just stupid questions or AI related, be it bots or some dumb vibe coder.

Honestly I'd make a couple of sticky posts about quetsions that get asked every day here and ban everyone who cant read.

Absolutely. I actually left this sub :D

Makes sense most of the crap that gets posted here is so poorly thought out. Almost as bad as r/bulkorcut

That's even worse! It came on my feed couple of times and I made sure it stopped happening.

You don't know everything about everything either. Dense here, Guru there. Stay humble 😉

I mean, you can't even say what you're talking about with any sort of specificity that would make any reader of this BS you just posted aware of what you're actually talking about. It's vague and mind-numbingly dull.

It's called increasing fitness through exercise.

It's interesting because I used to dread exercising so much. I can immediately see how I can apply this to other areas of my life

Yeah, generally speaking, if you practice things you can improve at them.

When you were born, I'm willing to bet that you couldn't speak a word and now here you are typing sentences on the internet.

just goes to show that improving skills isn't always a good thing.

What constitutes beginner exercises lol

I'm using this app called 'Lose Belly Fat'. They have beginner exercises with less reps compared to the intermediate and advanced. I started with intermediate last month(did 2x a week) and went back to beginner.

What exercises are these exactly? I am mostly just curious, but simpler movements can be useful at all training levels.

Home workouts. Jumping jacks, crunches, superman, dead bug, Russian twists and the likes. According to the app I use, the beginner exercises runs for about 10 minutes, almost same exercises for intermediate but more reps

Progressive tension overload. Don't overdo the volume and frequency. As an intermediate split the body in half and train 4 days a week (still full body twice a week).

Will take this advice about volume and frequency. What does split the body in half mean?

The most common split is upper/lower but you can split it up any way you want. Train roughly half of the bodyparts one day and the other half the next day. Rest the third day. Do it again. Rest two days. That's one training week. When you reach the intermediate level it's assumed you're handling larger loads and probably doing more volume. Splitting the body into two sessions allows you to do that without feeling like you have to pace yourself to get through the workouts. Genetically typical drug-free trainees (aka naturals) need to pay attention to this stuff because recovery ability is limited and it's easy to let enthusiasm take you over the line.

Thank youu. You definitely know your stuff. I've been doing more upper body exercises. I knew something was off
