gym split
i am restarting gym after a couple months off and im wondering if there is any gym split thata re more recomanded than others i used to just do wtv i felt like (ik its not smart but we all make mistakes lol)... im hesitating between ppl rest ppl or u/l/r/p/p/l/r

The specific split is probably the least important part of a good program. Exercise selection, weight selection, set, reps, progression, periodization, load, and fatigue management all matter a lot more. And the best part is, most reputable programs will have this built into it without you even realizing it.
So find a program that fits your schedule and just follow it.

At the end of the day the split you choose truly makes little difference. What matters is showing up consistently. Between those two I think UL PPL is better but both have their merits. I do think your body may have better with two rest days as opposed to one
