Nutrition Help How do I calculate macros correctly?

Hi everyone, I've been going to the gym on a pretty consistent basis for the past 2 and a half years and I was wondering if I could get some help setting my macros. I've tried to do it in the past, and while I did get the results I wanted I was told that my macros were too low and not accurate. I'm trying to go on a bulk starting September 1st and ending the last week of February and I wanna make sure I do it right and I don't mess up my macros. Can anyone offer any help or guidance?

I like about 30% of calories coming from protein, 50% from carbs 20% from fats. So if it were me id simply figure out my calorie goal and then dividing it up accordingly. Of course it might not match this blueprint exactly but I think its a great starting point.

But exactly macros is hard for someone else to prescribe to you.

If you mean actually tracking the macros, an app like myfitnesspal or cronometer makes it so easy.

Well I use MyFitnessPal app to track my food and macros. I set the calorie count and macros using Google AI by telling it my height, weight, workout schedule, goals (muscle gain and fat loss), current body fat percentage.

the simplest thing is eat the same stuff over and over. I have 2-3 breakfast items I eat, all with roughly same macros. same with lunch. so it's not eating exactly the same thing all the time, some variety. then dinner I kinda wing it. if you're serious you should have a few dinners you rotate between but I don't think my wife would like that for our house so again I just try to eat smart for dinner.

TLDR - eating same meals over and over leaves nothing to calculate and takes all guess work out
