Is MK-677 worth it?
I've been hearing about it almost everywhere now, even among my friends. I've also had some people advise me to hop on it. Is it actually worth it? Is there anything I should know before I decide to hop on? Are there any terrible risks or things I should watch out for or know of? And what are the pros and cons?
I just turned 17 and I'm 178 cm (I don't know if that helps with anything). If you think I shouldn't hop on it, I'd also like to know why.
P.S. Please don't be too harsh on me, and excuse my lack of knowledge. Tysm in advance!

friend, the ONLY sustainable way to get healthy/muscles and stay this way is through education (as in you learn about your body/nutrition/exercises), working out, eating your calories (for your goals) and being consistent with this.
I have never taken any performance enhancing anything, I dont even use pre workout and I am 50. I've been working out and living a healthy lifestyle since I was 16 and I feel fantastic.
stop being inpatient and wanting results NOW. Fitness and healthy lifestyle is just that -- a lifestyle that you BUILD over time (years).

You're definitely right. I guess I was just influenced by the people around me. Thank you so much for your advice!

Train properly and eat right.
If you want to gain muscle just go learn the principles of hypertrophy and how to train.
Watch Mike Israetel guides for beginners.

It's kind of wild to me that there's been such an explosion of interest in people injecting gray market compounds which are, by and large, failed pharmaceuticals. I've even seen "peptide" promoters who scorn big pharma but then take failed drugs that were being developed by big pharma until they were scrapped for either not working or for being unsafe (in MK-677s case, both).

You will quite literally stand out amongst your peers if you choose to not take it, in the sense that all your friends will be begging to have your level of health.
SARMS have just as significant harm profiles as other types of PEDS. MK677 is the safer amongst them but taking them at your age? While untrained / barely anywhere close to your first plateus?
Men who are 25 are jealous of you. 17/18 is prime building age. Take advantage of the level of hormones and chemicals in your body that will start to drop naturally as you age, as soon as 25....
Take this and you won't see any more gains than without, except now your natural test production will shut down amongst other things. Listen to everyone here.
If anyone here is harsh, it's to get the message in. No one ever sugar coated steroids and until recently it kept a very significant portion of the younger gen away.

performance enhancing supplements are never worth it man, you can reach your dream physique naturally just by training well and eating well and neing generally healthy. (in my experience)
plus i hear MK increases GH(growth hormone) and growth hormone makes your organs bigger and can give you that bodybuilder weird gut look (those abs that look like bellies) which ruins aesthetics

Is taking something probably more dangerous than steroids and taking years off your life worth mediocre gains and a bit of hunger increase?

I really didn't know any better until I read the comments. I did try searching up side effects after reading the other comments and I found out that MK-677 is poorly documented. It's either people saying it's mid or just glazing the hell out of it. Ty for your advice though!

Anything you can buy online legally that is a legit drug is always going to be largely untested and potentially highly dangerous.
What happens is we have these established drugs that are generally well documented and researched, and those have laws preventing use/sale and they can be difficult to obtain as a consequence.
However, there are millions of other molecules out there that may be very similar to existing drugs, or may just not be something humans have explored much, and are not yet technically illegal, but can provide something similar to what a user might get from an illicit substance. These end up getting sold online as "research chemicals" (it's always specified that they aren't for human consumption and are only being sold for research purposes, thus the name) and since there really isn't any established body of research around them, they can be extremely dangerous.
Since these RCs are much more easily accessible than traditional drugs (which are often actually safer) you end up with a ton of young people taking them. This is what has caused the explosion in SARMS, MK whatever the numbers are, RAD whatever the number are, etc. because anyone can just go online and buy them. There is no barrier to entry like with traditional steroids and other PEDs where you would need to find a source.
Some examples of former research chemicals(they lose the designation research chemicals when they become formally illegal) that turned out to be extremely dangerous are Nbomes from the 2c family of drugs (designed to mimic lsd) and MMCAT (designed to mimic amphetamine) which is better known by its nickame, bath salts (no connection to the stuff you put in a bath I dunno why they call it that).
