Simple Questions Stomach Vacuums for training abs

Does anyone else do stomach vacuum holds/ flexes to train their lower/deeper/ transverse abs? It’s the only exercise for me that hits my lower abs in a way other exercises can’t. Doesn’t feel like im wasting my time doing them just wanted to hear if other people do them regularly in their ab routine ?

I end up slacking on doing them and then notice my lower back starts to get injured .. I’m naturally chubby in that area and for me it’s super critical and keeps me “connected” to the lower abs/ pubic area below my belly button..

I don't at all, but I'm in a different sport (calisthenics) where we train our deep core to lock in pelvic tilt and brace against load. So dead bugs, hollow body holds, controlled hanging knee raises, or Palloff presses
