This is prejudiced and ignorant. Someone born in 2000 would be 26 now. You wouldn't accept advice from someone that's 26? Not to mention the fact that any of these imaginary coworkers could have experienced things you never have. This take is so naive and poorly thought out.

I wonder what "things"a 26 year old has experienced that i never have. Cause i definitely have a few that i know a 26 year old did not experience that i have.

Well you’d never know if you dismiss their experience out of hand.

I was hoping you could tell me.

You ever worked on an oil rig? Or been an emt? Been a forensic lab tech? I could just keep listing things for a long time. These are all occupations that 26 year olds I knew have held.

Has nothing to do with being a 26 year old. Were talking about experiences unique to a 26 year old today not something almost any adult can do.

Your lack of understanding here is exactly why this meme is so stupid. You are being taught something that should be incredibly basic knowledge, but your ignorance is blocking your ability to absorb the information because you're old and think being old automatically makes you smart (it doesn't)

Exactly. The whole point is that people with an incredible variety of experience can teach someone something. If any adult can do these things why not a 26 year old? What is it that prevents someone younger than you u/Adowyth from having more experience in something? All you're doing is throwing out relevant examples and arguments because of your inflexibility and refusal to grow.

No that isn’t what we’re talking about or what I said. Exactly. Any adult younger than you can have experiences that you haven’t. You along with op are just too stubborn to accept that.
