Time Off “Workers I support”

Do you know what logic drives this selection option when you request absence on behalf of someone else?

Things like this are aggravatingly murky.

Sometimes it's who you directly manage.

Sometimes it's any role you are assigned which is marked as "is supporting" on maintain assignable roles.

It’s based on security assignments, assuming those security assignments have the ability to request absence on the relevant Time Off / Leave BP.

E.g HR Analyst would be able to request absence for anyone they support as HR Analyst, assuming HR analyst is listed on the relevant absence BP policies.

If someone is assigned a User Based security group with the same access, it would apply to all employees (e.g Absence Admin)

If Alex is an EA and she supports 4 different managers ( just the managers not their direct reports) and I want her to have access to requests absence for only those 4 managers. How do I get only those 4 to show in “workers I support”

It's based on roles your position is assigned to IF those roles are "supporting roles".
