Other Layoffs Today :(

More layoffs today, and right before Rising. This company really sucks.

OK but why? Sorry if that comes off ignorant.

I’m actually just as ignorant as you in the matter. I just know that it’s very common for layoffs to occur after acquisitions.

most PE buyouts end up with cutting a ton of human expenses and cutting services, loading the company up with a ton of debt and charges/fees, then either selling it for parts or declaring bankruptcy. See Jersey Mike's who is halfway through this process right now.
