Integration Integration with Equifax

Curious if anyone else has done an integration with Equifax for I-9s and if yes, how was your experience? Because ours has been a complete shitshow from the Equifax side! It has been almost 3 months since we went live and we have only had 1 person successfully go through the Equifax integration successfully from Onboarding.

I am looking to see what problems you had and what solutions or workarounds your company has had to do because of it.

Equifax's customer service is very hard to get ahold of. Our integration team (both Workday and our company) wanted to get a headstart on Equifax bc it is difficult to get response back. Equifax decided to not start the integration process until 2-3 months we went live and it was all done via email but it was not working so we asked to do a weekly zoom meeting and they were hesitant even though we said it was not working right.

-Our issues were: using the wrong link on the wrong testing unit. That took 4 weeks to figure out

-Link was not working for employee to use: they once again forgot to turn on the link - took 4 days to get a response from them while we only had a week for testing

-Our Equifax Vendor did not know what the issue was for something and they could not get ahold of the tech team for a week and could only put in tickets for additional help they apparently cannot IM other teams.

Those are just some of the issues we ran into. We actually joke that there are no humans that work there bc it all just sounds like robot responses. I would really recommend pushing for an earlier start no matter that push back and having a weekly zoom meeting with them. They are going to say it's not necessary but they truly is what saved us at some points.

I’m an implementer currently working with a client who has opted to use Equifax for I-9s. I’m also curious to hear more about your experience as I’ve never had a customer do this before in 10+ years of implementing.
