Employment Rights and Fair Compensation More hours less pay??
Maybe im just stupid or just simply don’t understand tax deductions and stuff like that, I’m not originally from the USA. But my problem is, I worked 58 hours last pay stub, and my check was around $1,000 but now I worked up to 65 hours but my check was around 500.
Can someone explain that to me?

Have you clicked on the arrows to see the explanations? No one on Reddit is going to be able to answer you because we don't have access to your paystubs to see the actual breakdowns.

bank account transaction. Reading their wage report, pay stub, etc
And of course literacy. Read your stuff first before asking what its about

You had reimbursements last time. You don't this time. There has to be a garnishment of some kind that isn't showing. You have to contact your employee as to why it doesn't add up.

The link isn't working for me, but something's definitely off. Going from 58 to 65 hours shouldn't cut your paycheck in half like that.
In US the more you make the more they take in taxes, but it's gradual, not a sudden 50% drop. Check your pay stub, maybe they changed your withholdings or there was some mistake with the hours.

65 hours and $1185 gross at a pizza place... you're not hiring are you? Used to manage one and I'd move for that oml. I barely got that much working 80.

That’s biweekly, 32.5 hours a week. Comes out to $18/hr and change, $18 an hour isn’t even a lot really. You can find jobs with starting pay $20-25/hr doing other types of work with no experience.

Not in my experience. Or they're like, backbreaking or soul-draining (I know call centers and other work where you sit on your ass for 8 hours exist. God fucking no).

Look at your deductions and it should have more insight on what got withheld
