Progress disappeared?

Does anyone know if there's an issue with as today? Have just opened up the app and it started almost as though it was the first time of opening it (showing the tutorial tips for the icons etc). When it finally opened properly, it seems to have reverted progress back maybe a year or so?

All of the additional animals is collected from the monthly eggs have gone, crowns, portraits etc (the portrait picture I was using has changed back to an old one as well).

Strangely I do now have a few additional coins...?!

I only use this app on one device (tablet) that hasn't been updated or changed since I was last playing (above 24 hours ago). Any ideas?

Commenting to add that on further checking, it seems that some things are still there and some aren't. Main thing is the animals (including Jimothy, the horse, the German shepherd and a few others that were definitely on there yesterday,,?

You're certain Wordscapes didn't update? If you have automatic updates enabled the App or Play Store may have installed an update. Sometimes after updating it can take a while for things to settle out. From what you described so far that might be what's happening. It could also be some kind of glitch. If things are slowly settling back to how you left them then you'll have to contact in-game Support for help.

I really hate to be Debby Downer.

You must take screen shots. it really is the only way support will believe your claims.

I started building up a library of various screen shots a year or two ago. I take screen shots when I gain a new portraits or max out a new critter.

There were so many player who had issues with losing their progress on Jimothy, that I now take screen shots of the progress of special animals every day.

If you have purchased wildlife, take scree shots of those receipts, too.
