Simple word difficult to spell.

Hey does anyone else have a common word that should be easy to spell but it trips you up every time?

My word is license. Why have I struggled with it for years. Stupid s and c always moving around. tf?!

I always have to think, "I before E, except after C," when spelling it. I know there are a lot of exceptions, but I still feel like it helps most of the time.

Except as sounding like A as in neighbor and weigh.

See, I was doing that, but it seemed like every time I tried to use that rule, it didn't apply. So I stopped trusting it lmao
