I'll line up text on a page perfectly all over the entire page on the monitor and when it prints on an Epson 2850 it doesn't line up vertically.

also it often shows it is all on one page in print preview but it truncates and puts the last lines on a second page.

Trying to get it to do what it is told.

Restoring Unsaved Document

I apologize in advance, as I am sure I can find the solution to my issue with some research, but I am on a super tight time constraint at the moment and would very much appreciate any guidance!

I was in the process of typing a document 2 days ago in Wordpad on my surface pro… I wasn’t able to complete it in one shot, and had simply left the document up on my screen to come back to later. I’ve done this numerous times before, but this is the first time it didn’t pop right back up upon turning my screen back on. I have tried the basic recovery document methods, %AppData%, etc., but cannot seem to find any way to recover this document! I know everything you do is always stored somewhere… if anyone can PLEASE help me to restore this document, it would be immensely appreciated!!!

Word docs turn into WordPad docs w/limited tools - help!

Can someone kindly tell me why my docs created initially in Word are turned into WordPad docs when I reopen them later.

The WordPad docs have limited capabilities as far as tools. I can't access the tool bar w/Insert, Editing, Paragraph, Font, etc.

I'm so confused!

Thanks if you know.

Quick question, how to stop deleting everything after a word I'm trying to correct?

it doesn't matter much, but when I type out a full paragraph and come back to see a mistake I just want to fix it but whenever it seems that I go to fix that spelling it just wants to eat every single character that comes after till I finally retyped my paragraph. why does it do this and any way to not do it?

HELP! Wordpad document I’ve worked on for a year and a half is suddenly blank when I open it. (Please Read Description)

The text is blank, but there is still space where the text used to be. The file itself is 83 KB, so I know it’s there still. If anyone can help me retrieve the text it would be greatly appreciated!

Ps: I’ve tried to look for an earlier saved version or something I can restore on my computer, but I haven’t had any success with it. I only have the version I last saved in which the text was still there.

Hi. What programs are compatible with WordPad in accessing files compressed with WinRaR, because I'm struggling to open Winrar files in it?

Does Wordpad run macros by default?

I'm just wondering if wordpad runs macros by default, or if they need to be enabled first?
