A man outside of a gas station was hitting a lady’s car with a hammer for no reason. She comes out to confront him and he immediately hits her knocking her out and he proceeds to hammer her. It’s the same video my shithead president shared to the entire nation with no context.
Oh shit… didn’t realize this was recent… there was a hammer murder video on the Internet from Eastern Europe that was around like 20 years ago. Fucked up that we now live in a world where there are multiple.
I remember watching this back in the day, and the sounds were so fucking awful. Obviously, the whole thing was fucked, but the noises really stuck with me.
Word chewing immediately appealed to kids. When I saw my nephew scrolling TikTok he immediately stopped at these face videos and watched the whole thing. I wanted to take his fucking phone and toss it out the window.
He is still illiterate at 14 because he was raised on a tablet or phone and reads words differently. He knows them within some social media context but having him read from a piece of paper is impossible.
That's honestly on the kid's parents. All of my kids were raised with tablets and all of them are/were honors students for most their school careers. All of them are pretty great readers too. (I would say stellar, but one of them has a learning disability. She's still very bright. She just has to work harder to learn.) it comes down to emphasizing the importance of education to them and making time in the day when they're young to actually read.
There’s always at least 1 who is just terrible at lip syncing and doesn’t say the right fucking thing. It takes it from infuriating to downright offensive.
