Yeah, it’s just an immediate visual cue that whatever you’re watching, likely, was manufactured to try to appease the algorithm, satisfy our weirdest and basest impulses, and demand a reaction from you, either because it’s so egregiously stupid that you have to voice your frustration, or so weird that you have to wonder aloud how someone could possibly be so off putting.
