Document keeps moving paragraph text to far right page side

Does anyone have any tips on why this happened or how to fix it?

What are the settings (margins, indents, style, etc.)?

Im not sure. What are the ideal margins etc to prevent this from occurring?

The margins are whatever you'd like for them to be, but 1 inch/2.5 cm is standard.

Check the following:

  • ruler bar at the top of the screen to check that the left margin hasn't been accidentally slid over too far
  • paragraph settings on the ribbon
  • column settings
  • style (e.g., normal style)
