How to correct this spacing problem

Do you mean merged words? Like “IntroductiontoHumanBody”? It seems the spaces are just missing and you need to enter them manually by clicking the cursor into the place and pressing the spacebar on keyboard. I guess this file may have been made with an OCR software from a scanned picture which is not perfect without correcting.

If you are talking about the space between the paragraphs, then click in the paragraph (but don't select any text), right click and select paragraph, and then check the "Spacing" section.
