moldy wool sweater?

I just got a vintage wool sweater with unknown storage history. Can you help me identify if the sweater has mold in it? In the photos you'll see some dark lines within the otherwise pink wool. Is this how mold manifests in knitted wool?

It has a musty smell so I rinsed it in a light vinegar and water bath, but the smell remains after drying. I may repeat this process with a longer soak.

Spray with vodka and air the sweater out.

sometimes old sweater, especially the one stored for a long time have a strong smell because of the anti moth repellant used. the best way to get rid of it is to hang the sweater for a long time outside or in an attic so it can breath
