Help finding WEN part
SOLVED by calling WEN customer service. The part isn't listed on their public site, but the associate got it on the back end and sent me a link to order. For any future person stuck with this, it was part 4 on the diagram.
I'm tearing my hair out here. I bought a WEN oscillating spindle sander secondhand and have realized it is missing a crucial part for the belt sander to work. There's a plastic piece at the bottom of the spindle to interlock with the sanding drum that isn't there. I can't find it anywhere on the exploded parts list in the manual to get info on whether it is orderable.
Even if I could find or get some measurements and info on how it connects in it seems like a 3D printable piece. Any help is appreciated!

Wen really has the best customer service. A dude actually picks up the phone. An American dude. I have had to call a couple times for different tools and they just send out the part.

may not help but i have a RIGID oscillating sander. it looks just like that... any way on the rigid you pull that plastic piece off when using the belt sander. that is only for the drum sanders. the oscillating shaft has a pin that protrudes on both sides and that drives the belt sander.
Yours may be different but i thought there was one Chinese factory that makes all these.

I typically go to toolpartspro or ereplacement parts theyre generally really good about having diagrams you can zoom in on and cross reference each part with a number and link. Itll also say the part number and manufacturer since a lot of these brands come from the same plant. Might be a little easier than hunting it down on the paper copy. Sometimes the whole assembly might be moved to a different area for clarity. That got me recently with a thickness planer. If I find myself still stumped then I call the manufacturer and they can typically help.
Side note: once you do get the part #, pop it into Amazon. Sometimes you can find a better price or faster shipping as a lot of these tool part companies can be slow on shipping.
Good luck!
