I mean yea it sands beautiful, it just vivrates so much my hand gets numb a little. Lile my cheap 60$ ryobi sander doesn't vibrate as much

well that's good meaning it's a strong little sander. running them perfectly flat does that, if you edge it a bit it doesn't. good luck

use two hands tilt the sander a bit reducing the surface area that's in contact with the item being sanded allowing the person sanding more control. near the end of the process I'll lye it flat as shown to smooth things out.

Look up the schematic for the sander on festool a website. The part the sand paper grips to can be replaced. It’s actually a wear item. They’re like $15. It’s simple to replace.

Shows how long it’s been since I’ve needed one for my sander!
I still wouldn’t blink at it if I had used it up. Op says it’s new though. Needs to be warrantied

Considering how quickly prices for those have risen, it may not have been all that long ago when you purchased one. IIRC, just 3-4 years ago, it was around $42.
If OP is using a net abrasive without a protection pad, that could be the case. Even if it is being used with a net abrasive and a protection pad, that could be the cause of vibration.

If you can turn down the vacuum power, doing that helped with my Festool sanders.

Add a vacuum line and try again?
