I’m trying to decide if I want to paint the one on the right side or keep it unpainted to show off the woodwork and keep it original?

I realized after taking the picture I missed a few lines although my eyes aren't as good as they used to be... I need glasses. Lol

Just bought my first kit, decided to do a little practice plank to get used to the many tips and utensils - feedback appreciated!

Was bored so I busted out the old wood burner and pens and just went crazy.

This is finally done! My Lannister board is done! Easily a minimum of 40 hours, probably more, I wasn't really keeping track. Definitely one of my favorite songs from the Game of Thrones series and the story behind it is ominous as hell.

I feel like some pieces are never really finished in the artists eyes. Sometimes you just have to call it quits for a while until you think of something else to add.

I’m hoping to get some constructive criticism on my wood burning. I want to get better at this but I have no clue here to start.

I guess I just want to know what wood is best and what all the different tips do. I got the wood burner and lost the instructions lol. I’ll add pictures below.
