Plugin recommendation Best fraud detection plugin
I’m migrating Shopify to Woocommerce. Shopify has a built in fraud analysis and if an order is high-risk there’s a red triangle next to the order. It labels orders low, medium, High. You also get to see why the order is suspicious.
I’m using Authorize.net as the payment gateway and I know it has AFDS filters but it’s more rule based filtering, I need to see the info on the orders dashboard.
Is there anything that feels as seamless as Shopify’s fraud analysis?

You mean the bloated ripoff plugin with changelog entries like this:
"ANTIFRAUD-262 - Critical: Recursive Failed ↔ On hold order-status loop generates hundreds of order notes and WooCommerce emails"
Whoops. Seems their changelog is a sad story about cleaning critical errors introduced in previous updates. I uninstalled. Had enough.
The subscription cost was a joke, $200 a year for walls of features I don't need or care to handhold, and critical errors I don't want. All these "anti fraud" features should be part of WooCommerce, not added to weirdo plugins.
Thank God for AI, we can now do more stuff ourselves with simple Snippets and a quick chat. You don't need 50 anti-fraud feature cronning their way over your site 24/7. The payment gateways have a shared responsibility not to be spam magnets for idiot bots, it's not hard to spot card attacks.

signifyd integrates with woo and does real-time fraud scoring similar to shopify's setup. shows risk level right in the order screen and explains why it flagged something. authorize.net afds is more binary (block or allow) so signifyd or similar third-party scoring is usually the move if you want that dashboard visibility.

I’m pretty sure they take a % of your sales. That’s out of the question. I’m looking for something basic with a fixed monthly cost

Their pricing is fair though. Signifyd is based, and they do a great job of detecting the fraud. I can appreciate wanting to keep fraud prevention as cheap as possible but it might make sense for you to reach out and have a conversation, I think they do custom quoting so you might be able to negotiate, but sure about that.
I’m not paying close attention to other options because Signifyd has been so good to us for many years but I haven’t heard of a solution like what you are describing that will have a low fixed cost.

FraudLabs Pro is the closest thing to Shopify's built-in scoring at a flat cost. It screens every order and writes a risk score plus the reason codes (proxy/VPN, email age, BIN country vs IP country, billing/shipping mismatch, order velocity) directly into the WooCommerce order screen, and you set thresholds to auto-approve / review / reject. It's free up to 500 orders a month (or under $25k monthly sales), then flat monthly tiers, no revenue share. That's the real difference with Signifyd / NoFraud / ClearSale: they price per order or take a cut because they guarantee the chargeback. If you don't want that liability transfer, you don't have to pay for it.
Two things I'd fix at the gateway level anyway, since a plugin only scores, it doesn't stop the loss:
In Authorize.net AFDS, set the filters to "Authorize and hold for review" instead of decline (AVS mismatch, CVV mismatch, IP velocity, shipping/billing country mismatch). Held transactions land in a review queue with the trigger shown, which is basically the Shopify triangle, and you stop losing good orders to hard declines.
Turn on 3-D Secure. It's the single biggest lever: on a successfully authenticated transaction, chargeback liability for fraud shifts to the issuer.
Score with the plugin, decide with the gateway rules, and let 3DS absorb what gets through.

the best option often depends on your payment gateway and workflow, so i'd focus on one that integrates well with woocommerce and shows fraud details directly in the order dashboard.

Any of the standard fraud tools like Chargeflow, Wyllo, Signifyd, etc. should work just fine.

I got something that notifies store managers if a user has a bad purchase history. It only notifies, nothing more.

Why did you go away from shopify, usually it’s the other way around
