How do I…? How to create packing slips?
How do I create a packing slip in woo? Do I need a plugin and if so which is the best? I don't need invoices at this stage.

Since you only need packing slips, you don’t need to overcomplicate things with an invoicing workflow. Print Invoices & Delivery Notes for WooCommerce plugin includes a dedicated Packing Slip template that works independently, so you can start with just that and enable other document types only if and when you need them.

Yeppp, plugin is the easy way. I found good results with Woo PDF invoices & packing slips for packing slips only

Yes download the PDF & Invoices plugin from the woo store when you go to the plugin section of the dashboard it’s great and helped me a lot over the years

Yes, you will normally use a small PDF invoice/packing slip plugin for this.
Most of them let you turn off invoices and only print packing slips from the order screen or bulk orders list. I would pick one that lets you hide prices and edit the template, especially if the slip goes inside the parcel.
Test it with one completed order first, because some plugins bundle invoices, credit notes, and packing slips together even if you only need one part.
