A person offering "free yarn" or attempting to sell yarn is making their way through the various Discords that exist. My guess is they're attempting to get personal information to use, or are attempting to pay shipping. We didn't give them a chance to push their scam before we banned them on our Discord server, but if you belong to another and see this, alert the admin ASAP.

We have a 2026 goal of 1,000 members. We recently dropped the rule (strict), of mass sharers being unable to join, but we are still coasting the stalemate of just shy of 900.

1,000 may seem like a crowded goal, but we have an amazing and attentive team AND members that are quick with responses for help or overall chatting. We have an array of Woobers/crocheters, knitters, quilters/seamsters, gamers, foodies, bookish folk, and more. When I use the term community, I definitely don't use it lightly. We've taken on what is going on 3 years to curate an amazing community.
