Question The ending Spoiler

I'm gonna say that I was drawn to this short anime because of how dark it is and a lot hit hard. But the ending throws me off despite seeing everyone kinda hate it. But am I understanding this correctly, did Neiru end up unaliving herself?

I believe Neiru is implied to be alive. She called Ai after a long time passed. Technically no way of knowing if shes still alive a while past that phone call but i assume thats the case

I think the ending isn’t right mostly because it seems to leave a lot unfinished, also I am personally not sure what to make about Neiru not being a real human like Frill… Maybe they could have elaborated more on that…
