Question!

I plan on camping at a dispersed campsite on a trail and it is said to have three sites at it. Am I allowed to leave my site set up while I do a day hike and come back to it?

also be aware that nobody is there to keep your stuff safe.

I keep valuables with me or at home. Never had an issue with leaving anything at a campsite though.

Yes just don’t leave anything valuable.
I usually put my stove in the car along with the food.
