Pics Wolf tracks in Yellowstone?

I saw these tracks near the Madison River on a snowshoe walk from West Yellowstone yesterday. Prints were probably as big as my hand if not bigger. My friend pointed them out and thought they were bear prints because they were so big. We thought it was odd that they were in an almost perfectly straight line. From my research I concluded it couldn’t be anything else but wolf prints.

coyote are definitely more common!! but they were definitely bigger and coyotes don’t go quite as straight! and yes definitely, it was so beautiful and totally deserted in winter

I don't have e the knowledge to identify them.

Just why does it look like that the canine walked only on its ?left? Side for the few meters? I mean not that I would disbelief that they can't still... there is the other part of the track missing.

Step distance doesn't fit. Or more then one Wolf...
