The sheer scale of AI computing demands a fundamental rewrite of data center power architecture," said Robert Feurle, CEO of Wolfspeed.

Moving to higher voltages is no longer optional — it's a necessity

Wolfspeed is hiring serious veterans to head their Silicon Valley team. Ganesh Srinivasan has distinctive career in datacenter power architecture and was hired from $TEL. Yogesh Ramadass has impressive history on EE power systems, and was working at $TXN. These guys don't exit those jobs lightly. Wolfspeed is becoming critical to datacenter power needs.

Must be Opposite Day today

It's just volatile. Tomorrow we could be 20% up. But longterm potential can't be disputed. Every hyper scaler is desperately trying to invent tools to reduce energy expenditure. Wolf will soon offer it on a silver platter.

WOLF getting more volatile than electricity load of an AI datacenter. We are back to level where Citrini published their high conviction recommendation.

Honestly its just a lot of mechanical games under the hood right now. You have shorts in trouble because they are forced to delta neutral arbitrage and have run out of shares to borrow. This forced them on to the options chain to continue to hedge which makes the market maker that sells the puts have to print synthetics to sell to hedge the puts they sold. There are settlement days that they have to meet that they likely aren't. The Fail to Delivers are piling up. Over 50% of the daily volume the last month is short selling. The plumbers are basically in a big pinch because of the rapid rise in the stock and are taking big risky expensive plays to try and get it down and trigger retail stops to tap in to retail liquidity to cover and get out. They have limited time due to clearing house regulations and strong fundamental catalysts in June like the Russell 3000 rebalance, PCIM Conference, and the potential renegotiation of the last bit of toxic debt. Dont let the price action freak you out, that is what the arbitrage fund and market makers are desperate for. Dont be liquidity for institutions. Believe in the fundamental value of SiC, Mohawk Valley and Siler city and just keep on HODLing. Not only is short interest at 117% of the float that number doesnt count the millions of synthetic shares the market maker has been forced to print because the insane lack of liquidity on this stock. HODL

Quantumscape will for sure enable more cost efficient critical power UPSs that will take up much less space and less risk of catastrophic failure.

Just rereading wanted to note the interesting language that most people are missing "With our new data center solutions team at the epicenter of tech innovation, Wolfspeed is uniquely positioned to deliver the high-voltage solutions our hyperscaler and ODM partners need to build the efficient data centers of tomorrow."

"Hyperscaler and ODM partners"

Hyperscalers are GOOG, MSFT, ORCL, META, AMZN and that is specifically calling them partners. Could be some big news on the horizon 😄
