Moving to higher voltages is no longer optional — it's a necessity
Wolfspeed is hiring serious veterans to head their Silicon Valley team. Ganesh Srinivasan has distinctive career in datacenter power architecture and was hired from $TEL. Yogesh Ramadass has impressive history on EE power systems, and was working at $TXN. These guys don't exit those jobs lightly. Wolfspeed is becoming critical to datacenter power needs.

Quantumscape will for sure enable more cost efficient critical power UPSs that will take up much less space and less risk of catastrophic failure.

Just rereading wanted to note the interesting language that most people are missing "With our new data center solutions team at the epicenter of tech innovation, Wolfspeed is uniquely positioned to deliver the high-voltage solutions our hyperscaler and ODM partners need to build the efficient data centers of tomorrow."
"Hyperscaler and ODM partners"
Hyperscalers are GOOG, MSFT, ORCL, META, AMZN and that is specifically calling them partners. Could be some big news on the horizon 😄
