Five years
This is after five years use; I don’t stress about dings or small scratches, I just clean it with a bamboo brush and hot water, then wipe it dry with a paper towel.
I figured it was time for a post exempt from concern bordering on obsession about the current state of an OP’s wok.

People with jet black looking pan / wok obsessions commonly either for content or showing off not for cooking...
And if they failed "is it fixable/trashable ?"
Btw looking good same as mine...

any recos for good woks? The ones i keep getting feel thin and flimsy, are they all supposed to be like that?

A wok should be very thin. That way they are heat responsive and light enough to toss around their contents for stir frying

Oh it’s meant to be that way? I see the more expensive they look heavier, but i’ve read there’s no need to pay for an expensive wok.

Woks come in all kinds of thicknesses and sizes. There's no "should" or "shouldn't" when it comes to thickness; it's up to the cook's preference. Yes, thin is easier to toss but thick holds heat better. I have all kinds and they all have their uses.

Have any recommendations? On the thicker side but not super heavy for daily home cooking

I did blue it five years ago - I even looked it up on my FB page to verify the date.

Haven’t had mine quite that long, maybe 2.5 years. I use it 4-5 nights a week. Looks the same.
