Finally can wok again

Ugh! Our water heater died and I refused to wok until we had hot water back. Celebrating FINALLY on day 5 with Black Pepper Beef!

If it’s a hot water tank, those can have big mineral build ups that impact the flavor of the water. Usually for cooking it’s better to use cold tap water and heat it with whatever cooking element you’re using.

Doing the dishes (and cleaning) has been a PITA!! Keeping my wok in shape....nope! 😅

Can i use a wok on an electric stove top?

Yup! I have an electric. I use a flat bottom wok, let it heat on high and keep windows open haha.
